Gordon Korman

Gordon Korman has written more than fifty books for children and young adults, including four ALA Best Books for Young Adults: Son of the Mob, A Semester in the Life of a Garbage Bag, Son of Interflux and Losing Joe's Place.

When he was 12, he wrote his first book, This Can't Be Happening!, about the adventures of two friends, Bruno and Boots, who went to a boarding school called Macdonald Hall. He has written six other books about Macdonald Hall, which have recently been reissued.

Gordon has also written The New York Times bestseller, 39 Clues: One False Note and plans to write more for the series. He also wrote Swindle, a Silver Birch nominee, and its sequel, Zoobreak.

Other popular Korman books include: The Juvie Three, Pop, The 6th Grade Nickname Game, Jake Reinvented, Maxx Comedy, The Everest Trilogy, The Island Trilogy and The Dive Trilogy.

A native of Thornhill, Ontario, and a graduate of New York University's School of Dramatic Writing, Korman lives in New York with his family and writes full-time.
