Who We Are

Strut your stuff!
The more involved your school becomes in preparing for the upcoming Book Fair, the more excited everyone will be to attend. Make the most of your volunteers’ talents and/or recruit a student crew to help decorate. Here are some tips & ideas.

Download a copy of current Promotion Guide
(5 Mb PDF) for great themed ideas.

Visit dollar stores, second-hand stores, and garage sales for inexpensive props.

Use materials provided (table covers, table signs, stands, book easels) to enhance table displays.

Hang promotional posters (indicate dates, times & locations) & directional arrows provided.

For other theme ideas, see How-to Guidebook in your Planning Kit.

Involving Students
Create large signs inviting parents to Fair & display in drop-off areas. Include Family Event date/time.

Design sandwich boards with bold messages on both sides. Have students wear boards as they walk through hallways, cafeteria & drop-off areas.

Place table tents on cafeteria tables, office counter & in teachers’ lounge.

Create themed displays for teachers’ lounge.

Recruit artisitic students to stencil or paint messages on T-shirts. Wear them and/or themed costumes before & during Book Fair week.

Create colourful themed hats or masks & hold a “Theme Day”.

Ask students to create themed decorations featured in online Promotion Guide.

Display entries and winners from Book Fair contests

Involving Classrooms
