Up & Read – students wear pajamas, bring their favourite stuffed animal & blanket and enjoy having stories read.

Talk Bonanza – invite older students to share book talks with an audience. Add a prop or two.

Reading Day – Host a read-aloud with local professionals (fire fighter, police officer, dignitary, sports figure or celebrity) or hold an author reading.
Special Treats
Muffins
with Mom, Donuts for Dad or Grandparent’s
Tea – schedule a time for family members
to shop while enjoying refreshments.
