Terms and Method of Payment

When you've chosen the items you would like to order:
fill in the quantity and price for each item
calculate the totals and your discounts
complete the billing and shipping information
submit your order by mail or fax

Terms are net 30 days.
Please make cheques or money orders payable to Scholastic Canada Ltd. Scholastic accepts payments using Visa or MasterCard. If paying by credit card, please include the credit card number and expiry date with your order.



Shipping & Handling Charges

All orders shipped within Canada are subject to shipping and handling. Shipping and handling charges are equal to 8% of the net order value and will be added to invoiced orders. The minimum shipping and handling charge is $6.00.

GST, PST, and HST
Products, equipment, and units or kits that include a significant number of non-book items are subject to 8% PST for Ontario schools, 7% HST for British Columbia schools, and 8% HST for Nova Scotia, Quebec, New Brunswick, and Newfoundland and Labrador schools. Add 5% GST on total order.

Please add appropriate taxes when submitting a prepaid order. If you have any questions about whether an item is subject to PST or HST please contact our Customer Service Department.

Prices

The prices in this catalogue are subject to a sliding discount policy. Book air Certificates canot be used in conjunction with this discount policy. Book Fair Certificates or dividends will be applied directly to the price of the item(s) ordered. The sliding Education discount structure will then be applied to the balance of the order after any Book Fair certificates have been applied.
Prices do not include GST, PST, HST, or shipping and handling charges. Prices are subject to change without notice.

Any of our products can be ordered on an approval basis. Please contact our Customer Service Department or your Scholastic Education Sales Representative for details and to arrange for an approval order.
