Hi, I'm Debbie Dadey. I live near Chicago, Illinois with my husband, Eric our three kids, a gerbil, and our dog. I like to play the piano, hike, do crafts, play tennis, read, and write.
One of my grandmothers was named Lilly Bailey.I loved her very much and Bailey School isnamed after her. I don't think I would have been awriter if it hadn't been for Grandmother Bailey'sdiary. She wrote in it every day. I always thoughtit was neat that her words would be in that bookforever for somebody to read. I like the idea thatmaybe the words Marcia and I write will be aroundfor a long time for people to enjoy.
Hi! I'm Marcia Jones. I live in Lexington, Kentucky with my husbandSteve and our two cats- Tazz and Purrl. I have been a first gradeteacher, a third grade teacher, a computer lab teacher, a writing andreading teacher, and a gifted and talented teacher. Whew! I've done alot of teaching. I still work in Elementary schools two days a week.
I like to write a lot but I also enjoy things like hiking, reading goodbooks, and traveling. I travel to schools in different states, evendifferent countries. It's fun seeing my books being enjoyed by lots ofdifferent people. I also like to travel to national parks with myhusband. When I travel, I keep a travel journal. Like GrandmotherBailey, I also keep a daily journal and an idea journal.
